Terms of Service
Last updated: September 7, 2026
Welcome to eDandora. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the eDandora website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Description of the Service
eDandora helps people discover Indian cultural and religious organizations, follow organizations they care about, browse and register for events, make donations or purchase tickets, volunteer, and connect with friends within the community.
2. Accounts
You may create an account using email/password or a third-party sign-in provider (Google, Facebook, or Apple). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information, including your name, when creating an account.
3. Organizations and Event Listings
Organizations and events listed on eDandora are created and managed by third parties, including organization administrators and, in some cases, automated data collection. eDandora does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any organization or event listing. You should confirm event details directly with the hosting organization before attending.
4. Payments and Donations
Paid event tickets and donations are processed through our third-party payment processor, Stripe. eDandora does not store your full payment card details. Refunds, where available, are subject to the policy of the hosting organization; eDandora is not responsible for issuing refunds on an organization's behalf unless required by law.
5. User Content and Conduct
You may be able to post comments, likes, shares, reviews, and other content (“User Content”) through the Service. You are solely responsible for your User Content. You agree not to post content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes on the rights of others. eDandora reserves the right to remove any User Content and to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
6. Location and Contacts
Certain features, such as showing nearby organizations and events, require access to your device's location. Certain features, such as suggesting friends, use securely hashed versions of phone numbers from your device contacts — your raw contact list is never uploaded to our servers. You can decline these permissions, though some features may not be available as a result.
7. Intellectual Property
The eDandora name, logo, and the Service's software and design are owned by eDandora and its licensors. Organizations retain ownership of the content they submit (logos, descriptions, photos, event details), and grant eDandora a license to display that content within the Service.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. eDandora does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that event or organization information will be accurate.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, eDandora shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service, including damages related to events, organizations, or transactions facilitated through the Service.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we believe you have violated these Terms.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Contact Us
If you have questions about these Terms, please contact us through the support options available in the app, or at the contact information listed on our website.
